Now, open a raw file again, and go through the troubleshooter again.

See?  Now follow the troubleshooter to fix the problem.

Tested - both files now open with color settings 'North America General Purpose 2' and the Alert is no longer popping up!

No Tania, you're missing the point.   The Color Settings aren't the important part.  Are they all opening with sRGB down the bottom?

No...i'm getting..Adobe RGB (1998) (8bpc) on each file.

Ok (i'm back) Yes i went through the troubleshooter again but the last reminder re: 'ICC Profile' must be checked - I am not getting this when saving?

Yes you are.  Show me a screenshot of your Save As window.
