Ok I will do that...... Do you know how to determine the type of LED backlighting? The description from SpyderX is kind of vague to me.

Perhaps I need prints that come from a calibrated printer, and also the digital format to compare that to? That would probably be something I would need to purchase. 

Yes I do, but what types of prints qualify? The prints will look different depending on the quality of the print correct? How can I be assured that my colors are accurate? 

I am not much interested in photo editing and print. I came here because I'm interested in color accuracy and want to know that the content I am viewing whether it be a movie, or a game, be what the developer intended for me to see..... With that said, I've recently purchased the SypderX Pro and have been trying to calibrate my monitor. I have tried a few methods, including the methods laid out here (I followed them precisely). The thing I'm not sure about exactly, however, is how to determine what type of LED backlight is in all the different monitors I've tried calibrating.  Sometimes the calibrations do not turn out very well. Oftentimes I end up with a green hue/tint to the overall monitor image and I think this could perhaps be contributing to the problem.  One of the monitors I've been calibrating is the Dell S3220DGF.
