  1. yeah always have
  2. I followed the instructions and it's even wose now, too bright somehow and the colour a bit more off, never had this issue before i'm starting to think this is impossible because i think its something to do with the prin ter getting old This time i did V2 instead of V4, and custom photo preset, so adjusted the rgb to 6500k instead of choosing native
  3. No i used v2 back then, ive compared v2 and v4 on screen and theres no difference, dont know if that translates to print yet
  4. Yes, i always used it before with the older device as well
  5. Hi I got the calibrite software working while using my new calibrite display pro hsl, and when comparing my prints to screen, the icc profile is less accurate than just choosing the default srgb profile Never had this problem with the older istudio with the software My moniter is the gigbyte M32Q, windows 11, and i am selecting the custom display to calibrate on the moniter settings, not the srgb display Basically the prints have too much of a magenta cast, on LRC i switched between the custom profile and srgb (using xrite display profile app) and the latter is closer to print "Use windows display calibration" is unticked, and "use my settings for this device" is ticked Posted screenshots to show what i did
  6. I installed it on my laptop and it's fine, the option to register comes up, but the other message for my desktop keeps coming up so i cant even create an account on it
  7. Tried getting help from Calibrite and they just stopped responding to me I might try displaycal because this calibrite crap its not useable, i dont see any way this will ever work, would you recommend displaycal?
  8. Nah doesn't work I'm in contact with Calibrite and they are helping me out atm, but thanks
  9. No never, but there is an old xrite folder i cannot delete, from the older software for the older calibrator i1 display studio It is xrite/devices then whats in the screenshot
  10. This is what i get every time and nothing works, ive tried with version 2 and the newer one, neither will launch don't know what to do I'm on windows 11, and i just bought a new display pro HL
  11. They have run out of stock and i'm noticing that there isn't many options left Why are they so scarce? i have no idea what to go for now
  12. I am also looking at this one maybe in the future, woulkd it make any difference?
  13. Hi everyone I'm looking at getting a new colourimeter, and i'm looking at these two, i've heard conflicting stuff elsewhere about which is the better choice and almost forgot about this site because i haven't used it for a good while I was the using the i1 display studio with the matching software that seems to be out of date now as the combination just seems to not work anymore I have heard that the newer HL version is not good for lower luminance, and for my uses the high luminance of the HL wouldn't be suitable but i just don't trust the rabbit hole on the internet out there as it's not even possible to find any decent youtube video with basic instructions on how to calibrate a moniter (which is incredible) - this is the only place i have been able to find anything of value I'm using windows 11, and the Gigabyte M32Q moniter, and i will only calibrate for photo's not video's or any type of HDR photo's I found what seems like a good deal here with a ccc mini (which i don't have) What would you recommend i get and what software?
