So I'm recalibrating and the brightness is still down at 34.1. I brightened it up to 83 but it is still too bright so I've had to bring it right down again. It is more vibrant than my prints but not as drastic a difference as the white led setting was. I think I might have to go with close enough.

Just to answer my own question ?. The rgb led is apparently the one to use, I'll let you know how I go calibrating with this screen setting. It is also apparently wide gamut so I'll have a run and see what happens ☺️

With the back light options phosphorus is not there, it is the 5k 27" iMac and apparently it's phosphorus rgb, the only options are ccfl, white led and rgb led. Or unknown. Which should I select?

I'm going to attempt that today. Am I better to get a different calibration tool?

I have the latest iMac 27" and I cannot for the life of me get my screen to match my prints. The first time I calibrated I selected white led but I have read that the monitor is a phosphorus so I have no idea where to go. I have tried recalibration but I cannot change the screen type in settings, my screen is much more vibrant than my prints and brighter. I have to have it down quite low to get close. 

I am using the spyder 4 pro
