Hi everyone,
I recently got an ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP and I’ve noticed a slight blue tint on the left side of the screen. It’s most visible with white or light grey backgrounds (e.g. web pages or documents), and much less obvious (or invisible) during gaming or video playback.
A few relevant details:
This is my fourth unit, previous ones had worse uniformity issues or even slight curvature.
This one seems the best so far, except for this subtle tint.
I found this article by Damien Symonds about how to perform a “simple screen uniformity check,” which is part of why I’m posting here. (https://www.damiensymonds.net/simple-screen-uniformity-check/) damiensymonds.net
So I’m curious:
Have others experienced a similar blue tint on one side of their WOLED displays?
Do you think this is within normal panel tolerance for WOLED, or more likely a weaker/damaged unit?
How harsh would you be in returning it versus accepting it as “good enough” if it's the best among multiple units?
Thanks in advance for any insights or experiences you’re willing to share!
