Problem solved. I needed to unlock my external drive to gain permission to save

I am trying to design a banner in photoshop 800cm x 2000cm res 300. I keep getting the message that the scratch disk is full. I copied all of my documents onto an external drive and have enough space but I still have the same problem. I have been able to create a new document but can't do anything to it. I'm at a complete loss. Thank you

I couldn't find where to type the text. Before I go out and buy one big piece of paper and draw all on the same piece is there a way to blend these together please so they look like they are all on one piece of paper. This is for a brochure for a disease so excuse the drawing
