All of a sudden when I open my photos in PS from ACR they look all grainy. In ACR they look great but as soon as I take them into PS the grain appears. This just happened tonight. The photo I loaded here seems fine, so I guess it's just a setting that is off in PS but I don't have the first clue what to change. Another "symptom" that happened at the same time is that all of my icons and toolbars, etc were very small. So I went and found where to make them bigger again but that didn't fix the grain issue.

It was my cache. It was set to 1. I moved it up to 4. Thanks!
I have a PC laptop running Windows and Photoshop cc. It is under 12 months old, and has 8GB of RAM. Its hard drive has 362GB free out of 920GB. The last time I shut down was just before posting this thread. I have never run a cleanup program.
