Yep absolutely! I will ask some of my photography friends if I could borrow one. I will also Suss out the local labs and see what I can find.
thanks so much for your advice!

Hi Damien,
i have just upgraded to the new ps cc and noticed that is asks you whether to embed the srgb colour profile. I have only just noticed this after editing an entire gallery with this box ticked. I already edit in srgb, I am hoping that I haven't done something wrong here and will need to re-edit the gallery

do you think this will be an issue if I invest in a new calibrator?
-
I know Its been a long week!!
But it is definitely a calibration issue. Ive checked my prints in the daylight today and the printing profile my lab sent me and my screen is significantly warmer. I have re-calibrated 5 times following your instructions to a T and spent half an hour on the phone to x-rite this morning who were not helpful at all other than to tell me the ColorMunki is a great calibrator and I am obviously doing something wrong!! At this point I'm just ready to go back to my old Mac! -
I was looking on my phone. I always check my phone after I post a photo to see what others will see.

Hi Damien,
I just had a look and they match when I check both on my computer.
The image is a bit fuzzy but colour wise they match. I think my old settings for saving to web no longer apply with the new photoshop cc.
ive also just realised that my calibration is not correct. I lost daylight too quickly today be able to compare my prints to my screen so will look at this all again tomorrow.
Thank you so much for your help.

Hi Damien,
i just purchased a new iMac (retina 5k, 27 inch, Late 2015). I have also upgraded my photoshop and Lightroom to the newest Adobe cloud.
Move calibrated the screen with my color-munki display.
Tonight I tried to edit a photo like I normally do, I did basic edits in lr, then exported to ps. I saved the image for web and uploaded to my Facebook page and the photo was completely washed out. I realised that lr was in Adobe RGB mode so I rectified this. Edited from scratch again and then I uploaded to Facebook and it's the same issue. I really don't know where I am going wrong here.
any help would be greatly appreciated
