Honestly encouraging. LOL. Well, thanks for the effort.
I'm pretty pissed at myself.
I may go back and try to redo the cloning, and see if I can do a little better of a job.
Thank You!

No, I did not.

Ill send you a crop in a few.

Hey there guys n' gals!
I had to do some content aware and clone stamp tool on this image.
I am not very good at it. There was a rock in the center of this image, in the grass. So I had to get rid of it, and had a really rough time editing what was left of the shoes.
Will it pass for the client? Ive spent more time on it than I wanted to - However - if you think it is shit, I would love some direction on what I should do next!
Hi from California!, and thanks in advance!
-
I had to go pick my son up, and then I hit the hay.
I just got home from work - so I am going to do some research a little later, and ill let you know the outcome.

Oh yah. Duhhhh. Blonde moment.
-
Yeah, I have. Nothing sticks out to me.
My sky in those photos was really blown out - But I do have a tendency to shoot that way.
I see it in the images that were not edited yet, but its not as bad.
I went to my neighbors house earlier and looked on her computer at the photos I had uploaded to facebook, and did not see it there either.
I will hook up my sons laptop and look there too.

Yep! With JUST these images! I shot the wedding this past Saturday.
Is it possible a lens or camera could cause it?
-
My computer and monitor is less than 2 years old. And I always turn my monitor off before leaving my desk (to ensure it lasts longer)
My son also plays some interactive games on here - - - I am not sure if that would cause an issue? Just trying to think of all things that could effect it.
I do have a laptop (my sons) that I could hook up.
-
Well, I am glad, at least it is NOT in my image!
-
Did you see my file from earlier?
Just curious what you see - Samantha said it looked fine to her.
-
HDMI - (My hubby does surround sound and large screen t.v.'s for a living.. )
He actually ordered this monitor for me from his work.
-
Only one where I could not see banding on the image is when it was changed to, e-sRGB - And it was all black around the baby.

Downloaded and up on my CS6
-
Yes. I am having a quick bite with my husband and then I will get back to you. Dinner time here.
-
And yes - I do see banding in that cute babies photo!
A nice circle of different greens.

It is strange to me - I have never had this issue before. I was shooting with new equipment - but equipment that I know...So I don't get it.
As far as your class - please tell me exactly what it is that you are seeing in that image that needs to be fixed - ? Does it still look cold to you? Even though I warmed it? Is it not sharp?
I'm so curious. I want to get better. I'm working hard at it - but also am terrified to calibrate my monitor.
-
I am going to take your class - soon.
-
It is an Asus VN248
-
Thank You, Samantha!
Any other advice for the image?
-
Oh thank goodness! Do you see what I see? I had downloaded an action to try to help it go away, and it didn't do a thing to it. So I was almost thinking it could be my monitor. I was wanting to do a facebook post of the finished edit, and I could still see it on three of my images. Ill go look at my raw file now, never thought of that. Silly me.
