Ok I’ve now got all my issues ironed out! Yet I’m still having the same issue when I convert to srgb the photo looks horrible. Can you help me find the setting I need in photoshop.

Ok thanks! And I can run the clean my mac without losing anything? Most is saved on an external drive but just checking

Ok I can do that I am working on so many sessions I have been trying to clear it but it is pretty full. Do you think this could be part of the problem? I will do this now.

I have a Mac laptop running os X Yosemite and Photoshop 2017. It is over 2 years old, and has 16GB of RAM. Its hard drive has 32.69GB free out of 499GB. The last time I shut down was earlier today. I have never run a cleanup program.

It says could not complete your request bc file was not found And no messages come up from LR or ps after I reset

It's not opening JPEG files either that I try to open straight from the computer

Yes I just upgraded the 2017 version and this is when all my problems arose

Yes it is! And it is opening jpeg from LR to PS but not CR2 files I probably need to do this I just need to get my head above water from my fall sessions if I can get this to work then I will take you up on this! I really don't like LR.

Actually it looks like the previous photoshop did not uninstall so I'm doing that now. That did not solve the problem

I'm wondering I am running an a MacBook with the OS X Yosemite. Do I need to upgrade the software? It was working so I don't know why all of a sudden it stopped

It was running but I uninstalled it with the problem occurred. And yes I've tried different sessions.

Now I've messed around with it so much photoshop will not open my photos from Lightroom. Any suggestions there. Terribly frustrated that I upgraded.

Here's what my files show. To me it's confusing as it looks as if it's set for Srgb but we I have to save it's saying prophoto

I've always saved in srgb. I recently updated my creative cloud software and now using photoshop 2017 and it's saving in prophoto. I load my images in Lightroom and then move them to photoshop to edit. When I change it to srgb color profile the image looks terribly off color. HELP what am I doing wrong.
