This is what it should look like (first graphic with the three logos).... This one was created in ps using png logos.... It was kicked back out because it's not vector.
Second screenshot is the recreation in Illustrator. I have not been able to successfully convert the purple circle logo into a vector file. So I started with the two logo just to learn the process. I canNOT figure out how to re-create the step and repeat pattern in Illustrator. I can get to this point and then when I click down and save that pattern disappears.. -

PNG files are pixel files, so they're no good. You have to ask for the logos to be sent in vector format (eg .pdf or .ai); or recreate them yourself in vector format.
I have two of the logos in vector form now. Is there a way to create a pattern / step and repeat in Illustrator? I found one way, but it doesn't look at all the way I need it to.

Yikes. OK. Back to the drawing board.

The logos sent to me as png files were created that as vectors in illustrator.

Well, feel free to post any time you need my help.
Would you be able to help explain this? We have another banner ready to print. This one is a stretchy banner that will wrap around a curved wall stand.
The General Art Guidelines...
1. What does it mean Pantone Colors - "Called out in the art as spot colors"
2. Embed all images...?
3. Resolution must be 100-120? I first created it in PS but am now working in Illustrator and my closest choice is 150ppi?
4. All fonts must be created to outline? This file is just another repeating logo pattern. -

Do you think you'll be able to modify my InDesign document ok, if you need to? You'll see I set it up with layers, like a Photoshop document.
I sure hope so. I started studying and playing in Illustrator first. Next up is InDesign because I have 4 schedules and flyers to crank out later this week.

What did you decide about the black, @Michelle G? Are you going to leave it as true black?
We are ironing that out now. It looks like Pantone Neutral Black is the right color.

I forgot to show you this, too. You'll find it useful if you're embarking on more of this kind of work in the future.
Sweet. Thank you so much. Fortunately I was able to complete the half page magazine ad all in photoshop and that all went to press fine as of this morning. Huge relief. Now I can spend a a few days beginning to learn how to use Illustrator and InDesign before I have to start the next big project which will include logo creations. Talk about learning new things. I am Chemist by education and trade, retired to be a stay at home mom - who homeschools, turned photographer and now learning graphic design. I never would have guessed this journey for myself, but it's a fun ride.

Are you going to tell me what font you used?
I'm trying my best to help you here. You have to give me everything I need.
It's arial.

A bit closer?
Is the copyright symbol the same font as NINJAS?
No, it's not. That font did not look good for that symbol.

I'll need that Pantone number please.
For this sister company (same owner), NOT this one (I have no Pantone for this company) is supposed to be Pantone 368. MOTUS logo should be a very similar green.
The tricky part is that none of the previous graphic design work seems to actually have been created in that Pantone - thus complicating everything. There are a dozen greens all similar, but not the same.
And I pray that previous person never sees this post. ugh. -

Also, you sent me the wrong logo file. The one in your layout has "Motus Ninjas" together in one line, not two lines.
To create the banner we are just using the logo symbol and then below that is the social media handle. I took the png file and cut out just the logo symbol to create the pattern.

Also, the dark part of the logo file you sent me looks like it's black at first glance, but in actual fact it's not black but very dark grey. Is it supposed to be black?
Interesting. I'm not sure, through I would guess black. I was only given Pantone numbers for the green of the sister company.

The file is 300 inches x 94 inches - that's the max size the local printer could do. That change happened sometime last week. (25' x 7'10")

Sorry. Putting kids to bed.
OK. Yikes. Sounds like I have some errors. I'm working through your comments and checking.

Yeah. It's small. It's what I have to work with. It's my job to get their brand pulled together with consistent colors, fonts, and start re-making things that flow and so that we have basic things to work with.
It's Orbitron - a free font. -
No, they did not. I can ask them to be sent, but there is no guarantee they will be provided. Will email. Thank you.

psb - large document file - to save it as an adustable pattern. However I can save it as a png.... Correction - I can only save a smaller version as a png.
-
OK - so... Can I open that pattern file in InDesign/Illustrator? The rest of this is just fonts and a color block.
And are there quick learning videos for understanding either programs?
Printing in CMYK...
in Output - print, websites, Facebook, email, client disk, etc
