lizzycrowell
I have had amazing prints from keeping my computer calibrated. We just moved so I went and did a recalibration on my imac and mackbook. They matched, so I ordered some test prints and my calibration must be way off! There is a yellow hue in all of them. I tried recalibration on both monitors many times and nothing comes up different. Christina Keddie
How does your screen compare to your old test prints? Have you ruled out a lab error on this current batch of prints?
Christina Keddie
Also, the way you're talking about how you calibrated makes me think you aren't following Damien's instructions? http://www.damiensymonds.net/calibration.html
lizzycrowell
Yes I follow the instructions to a T! My previous prints look fine. I'll contact the lab.
Christina Keddie
Oh good! You talking about ordering new test prints, and ordering them *after* you calibrated, got me worried. Always keep your original test prints for exactly this reason. (And of course, you never need to order any new test prints, unless you're concerned that your lab has started printing things differently.)
