Canvas sharpening question

Hi - I took your sharpening class a while ago and forgot one thing...hoping you might remind me. I remember all the nuances of sharpening for canvas, but I can't remember if I sharpen for the entire size (including the wrap) or just the face of it. I think it is the entire size including the wrap. So for example, if the canvas final size is 20 x 30, I'd sharpen for a length of 34 right, since there are 2" of "wrap". Thanks!

Actually, I just found my notes....it is NOT including the wrap. So maybe I answered my own question....
