Catherine
I can't seem to get my work flow going that will produce nice sharp clean images when having them printed. They look great on my screen which is calibrated but not on a print. I know it is something i am doing but not sure what or how I can fix it!. Christina Keddie
Can you explain what the difference is between what you see on your screen and what you see in a print? Also: if you're seeing a difference between your screen and a print, then you're not properly calibrated, I'm afraid. Have you followed Damien's instructions on calibrating your screen? http://www.damiensymonds.net/calibration.html
Catherine
They look very flat with no punch to them and slightly darker.Almost like they have a matte over them. A friend helped me out to calibrate so no it was not Damiens way.
Christina Keddie
OK, first: are you sure that your files are in sRGB? Go through *every* single step of this troubleshooter: http://www.damiensymonds.net/art_tscs000.html Second: once you're confident you sent sRGB files to your lab to print, then grab those sRGB prints and follow Damien's instructions to properly calibrate your screen.
