Yes sir, just making sure. When I clicked on Toggle it did turn it a hidius color like you said. Then I clicked back on the profile. But as far as I can tell it doesn't make my display brighter as before. Should I try it again? Or is it time to run the i1 Display Pro again?

Actually, Toggle is in the display profile. Is this correct? screenshot attached. Should it be in there? 

I see what you're saying.... "You’ll click on the other monitor profile, and you’ll probably see your screen change. Then you click on the proper profile again, and the screen will be ready to go." I did see the color and monitor change. Since I don't have another profile with the (*) to click onto, do I click on Toggle?

Im freaking out! I was half way through editing photos in photoshop when my computer screen went a little darker. Now photos in photoshop, Lightroom, and the photo viewer are even a matte look. I think there was a scan or something running in the background? Ive got sessions this week and need to get photos from past sessions to clients. Please help. I’m afraid of making it worse. Where should I start?

i have a Windows hp envy. (I canny get a new computer). 

I have i1 Display Pro.

Hi! I'm sorry to bother you. I'm looking at the link for calibrators. The X-Rite ColorMunki Display is a descent price, but it is out of production. The X-Rite i1Display Pro got bad reviews for the software not working properly, to buy software from a 3rd party. Have you had bad experiences with the i1Display Pro? The Spyders are pricey. Suggestions on which one to buy?

Reading further in the last link and Just found this also. The top section's color space is set to prophoto RGB, as in the attached pic. I changed it to sRGB. That is correct, correct??

Just to recap, a calibrator, such as color munki , will work with my touch screen laptop?

Just attached an image from lightroom. Is it supposed to be sRGB? 

I just figured out the profile untagged in ps. I didn't realize I sent a 72 resolution image in for a test print. The pic attached is the original one. It's tagged. Yay!

Right, I'm sorry, I meant in Lightroom. Not sure where to find the profile info for Lightroom.

Sigh...I asked the customer service at whcc if that needs to be checked and they said no. But I checked it.

I use the latest version of ps from adobe. I lost my photoshop software with my old computer. It to was a disk install. So I use the one from adobe's website. 

I tested some older images in photoshop. They don't have profiles either. How do you think that is happening? That's really important, isn't it? How do I fix it to where all the images have a profile?

I had a color munki smile for my old computer and loved it. But it is a disc install. My new computer doesn't have a disc tray. Plus the calibrator is old.

I've been telling my husband the bulbs are too yellow!

I have a hp Envy x360 15" touch screen. I have attached a photo of a print (that's really dark. Especially the greens.)  It's alot darker than the image on my computer. The image in photoshop and windows photo viewer are the exact same. The only thing thats different is the print. I don't like it dark like that. I shoot light and a bit "airy". I have looked all over the computer and can't find where to change the colour settings as you suggested in a post. I have contacted HP customer support but they were no help.

My Canon 7D is set to sRGB...the same since before using this new computer.

Photoshop sRGB IEC61966-2.1. Should it be Adobe 1998?

Lightroom color settings are attached.

I used whcc to print and never had any issues before my new computer. They recommended contacting you. Please help. I'm freaking out. I'm at a complete loss.
