  1. Thank you so much Brian. Very helpful. On another note - do you have an idea when you are updating your "what Mac to purchase?" so incredibly helpful. Cheers
  2. Hi Brian. I have a PC laptop that I sometimes use for photos but also for other things and I am wondering if you have a recommendation for anti-virus, firewall for it. Also, I want to do on-line banking, so I need it to be secure. I am running Windows 11. Thanks for your help.
  3. Ok. That's great. Thank you so much.
  4. Damien, I am doing a project where I am photographing in a hospital and sometimes monitors of patient information gets in the picture. I want to blur this due to patient confidentiality. So I am using Gaussian blur but I wonder where in my workflow I should do this? Or does it matter? Thanks.
  5. Ok. sounds good to me. thanks for helping me sort things
  6. Ok. Have done the printing. Preview gives me perfect colour and brightness. PS colour lacks red and is a wee bit not as bright.
  7. Ok. That will take me a bit. As soon as I get that done, I'll message you.
  8. The prints I used were from a pro-lab here in town (Canada)
  9. I have a Spyder Xpro. Can't remember date of last calibration. ?? over 1 month. Will do another calibration now.
  10. That's right. The dog closest to me is more brown than red now. Also I think it isn't quite as bright as from Preview.
  11. That seems to have got rid of lines. Colour not quite right but doable. Size not right but I don't know how to size image for paper...yet
  12. Oh. Maybe we should see if we can fix the PS settings then?
  13. I don't think we need to, thanks. It's not like these are works of art photos lol. I will be taking your Print course at some time and I know I won't be using this printer for that. Thanks so much.
