  1. Great, will do - any thoughts on how to keep it natural looking with the shadowing so they don't look like they were just plopped down?
  2. What do you think the best method would be Damien?
  3. Well I have this one for the top. Gosh, never again what a nightmare. The wider paper arrived 30 minutes after the session of course.
  4. wait there's this one.... where she was squirming away
  5. Ugh, yes I agree. This is as good as I could get it, but her pony tail is very wrong and I hate that they look plastered with no shadowing/the light source doesn't make sense..
  6. No and I’m kicking myself. I do have this one and a whole series like this but it’s was not with family
  7. Hi Damien, we had a background snafu for my sisters newborn session ( the wider/taller one didn't arrive ). What would be the best way to extend it while keeping the shadows? The bright space photo left is intended, that's my light source but I would be cleaning that up and ideally, the whole thing would be white but the light source would be brighter for depth. This is just out of camera but I can do my Raw processing if need be. Thanks!
  8. I am attempting nd just a bit confused. When you say mask it in, do you mean create a layer mask on the new layer and using a black brush, mask off what I don't need? ( this is different photo but assuming the same method )
  9. Hey Damien - I just got my headshots done and didn't realize that my shirt had climbed up a bit in some of them. There's about 10 to fix but showing my middrift is a no for me post 2 kids. What would be the best method to fix? I tried carefully cloning the shirt from above but it just makes me look heavier. I asked the photographer for permission to edit that concern and she approved.
  10. Sorry, that was just one I had on hand that I had transferred. Yes, I was happy with them and they matched well. I used D65 vs native. Should I try that instead? I want to take your raw class on this computer vs the other ( my husbands ) but obviously want to make sure we are looking at the same thing vs looking so far off.
  11. Yes, I'm there. The bottom I have a print of my sweet little girl that looks like the warmer one on my other computer(also Mac but a huge display screen vs laptop). The print matched exactly. The bluer one after that I attached is what my laptop is showing of the same file. Not sure if that helps or not? Do you recommend doing the tweaks that you suggest in that other page to achieve warmer? I like warm tones to my photo. Thanks!
  12. I chose White LED - Its a 13inch MacBook Air M1
  13. Hello, Trying to calibrate my new MacBook Air. I followed your instructions to a t and it's just looking very off from my prints ( printed through nations ). My prints are much warmer than my achieved results. I adjusted the brightness via the slider vs the keyboard. Any thoughts? Here's what I achieved. I used the x-rite display pro my room darkening curtains were pulled and I did it today. I read we want to be around 6500k +/- 500 is that right? My guess is this is too cool, correct?
