    Thanks, when I resized the individual photos from around 25mp down to something like 2.8mp Photoshop worked well. It still produces a nice big file but obviously not gargantuan?

    I enjoy doing panoramas normally I do 4/5 shots and merge to panorama in Photoshop, yesterday I took an 8 shot pano but photoshop couldn't successfully merge them, it seemed to do it in 2 halves! Is 8 shots to many?
