What would you change to make it more realistic? I did use the second photo but had to change it quite a lot (and it's quite low resolution, so there wasn't a huge amount of detail to preserve)

I've emailed you. It's still so far from perfect so you might want to make some changes yourself

His face was very swollen in the second picture so I tried to make it look as it would have done if it hadn't been And the right (his left) half of the top lip was duplicated and flipped

It is Crystal - it's just liquified on two separate layers to hide the tongue. I didn't use anything that wasn't from the photos posted

I've reduced the red down the side of his nose too

How does this look? The psd is massive but I'll email you the full size jpeg to make any changes you'd like to make to it. After adjusting the exposure his skin seems quite light in the one with the tubes so I've altered it a bit but not too much

It might also be worth sending it to NILMDTS to ask what they would be able to do

This is still totally a work in progress as I haven't been at home tonight so I've just made a few quick changes. The second photo is quite small so there isn't much detail there to save when it's combined with the other one, but I've added a few shadows to try and give some definition. If you'd like me to send you the psd so you can make changes yourself, please let me know. Everything is taken from the two photos that you attached though

Please don't send it to her yet (well, you're very welcome to but it's only a first draft) - the photos were only quickly put together so there are still lots of bits round the edges that need some work. So glad you like it though

Please ignore the awful masking and the very quick edit, but before I do anything else to it, what would you change about the face shape/positioning of the nose and mouth etc? Does everything look reasonably in proportion and in the right place?

It is calibrated, but it's been a bit more than a month since I last did it. This has been going on for a few weeks though but I'd never seen anything like it before.

I know my phone isn't the best thing to be looking for but I can't see them on there... I'm really confused now. I haven't had this issue at all until recently; is there any chance it could be related to calibrating my screen?

Thanks for the reply. I haven't but I'll have a look on my phone now. My screen is calibrated (although about a week ago the reminders started popping up to say that I need to do it again). I'm sure I've been having this problem for longer than that though

Hi Damien, Some of my photos have blocks of a magenta/pink colour in the shadows; I've never noticed this before, and it's there before I do anything to them in ACR. Is there an easy way to get rid of them? Thanks
