  1. Food grief! I completely forgot about the patch tool. I haven't used that guy in a long time. What do you think of the letter job?
  2. Damien, I'm giving myself a little space from this letters challenge. What would be the first thing you tried to eliminate the wrinkles from the background blanket? I've been trying your "Creating a fake blanket with texture" tutorial but it is not going as well as I expected. Is that what you would do? If yes, then I'll just keep trying.
  3. Oops. I went to play with the high pass layer and didn't put it back to what you had yet. The lack of detail in the cloned area is bugging me a lot and wondered if a higher setting on the high pass layer would change anything.
  4. This is what I've managed so far. Not quite happy with it though.
  5. Funny because I expected you'd be the ultimate expert.
  6. Correction: Not the last step, step 6.
  7. Thank you for that explanation, Damien. When applying the High Pass filter, how do you decide on the setting for it? I just used the setting you did in your file. I am stuck on the mixer brush step. I have used the mixer brush exactly 1 time before today. I have played with it and watched some videos on how it works but I cannot find how to do what you did in that last step. Any advice you can give me or keywords to look it up myself?
  8. Oh my word. That is not even remotely close to the frequency separation I did. I am going to try to copy what you did. If I can figure it all out.
  9. So, do you have any recommendations on where to learn from?
  10. Wow!! That looks great! I don't consider myself a frequency separation expert at all. I just followed somebody's tutorial online that had previously worked for me. Can you tell me how you did it? Do you have a tutorial?
  11. Shoot. I was afraid of that.
  12. Oops. I believe I am out of practice. I tried again.
