  1. Okay did a proper job of the masking. I think it looks good. Thoughts?
  2. Ugh that looks terrible. Hold tight I'll keep working
  3. I've done the masking with a light soft brush - when I tried to do a mask with hard edges she was looking a bit cut out. Is this what you were envisaging when you suggested the radial?
  4. Similar to the top image in this post. http://www.jeremyigo.com/blog/tag/maternity-photography/ I'm worried though that my execution was too poor to achieve this look.
  5. My vision for this photo is that I would have an almost blacked out background, with a single light coming onto mum. I realise my mistake was not hanging a black background behind and I'm left with a pretty amateur looking image. It's a shame because I have a series of these images with beautiful poses and expressions, so I'm looking for help. I've tried overlaying a gradient, but I'm not sure its really convincing. I'd appreciate your opinion. I've attached the photo that is simply the RAW converted to B&W, and one where I've tried the gradient (I know the masking is rough, obviously I'd refine it) Thank you
  6. Okay works now. (If you're interested, when I went to repost the crop, I accidentally selected the wrong file to attach, and it happened that the file in question was too large. I said Okay to the error, went back and tried to select the crop, but the same error occurred, even though the file I was selecting was small enough. I restarted my session and then was able to upload the crop without any issues. A small bug you could report to your provider if you can be bothered)
  7. I'm sorry I can't attach a crop of the correction. I'm getting an error that I've exceeded 14.65MB.
  8. It worked well thank you. It did leave a little light patch where I had masked, but I corrected it with levels. Did you calculate the values for the channel mixer by trial and error/experience, or based on sampling the colour of the wrap itself?
  9. Hi. I've got sections of a baby wrap that weren't thick enough, and as a result you can see the baby's knee and nappy through the wrap. Is there a way to make the wrap look thicker/less transparent? I've tried a bit of cloning but haven't managed anything that looks realistic. Thank you. Full image and crop attached.
