  1. When PS automatically updates to it's newest year, do we need to keep PS application files from previous versions? I have photoshop CC versions going back to 2014. I'd like to clean up my computer but I don't want to screw up PS.
  2. I feel like there is a little bit of a line right in the middle between the two shades
  3. I will work on it today.
  4. What is the best way to fix the background? I watched your extend background tutorial and I am having trouble with selecting different points for the gradients. I must be doing something wrong. I have a bunch of these to fix. Content aware does not do a good job.
  5. I am getting this error message when I open PS CC 2019. According to Adobe's website, my card is supported. What do I need to do? iMAC Sierra 10.12.6, 3.4GHz intel core i7, Graphics AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1024MB
  6. I reviewed module 11 and started going through the others. Thanks for putting it in a handy flow chart. I had the steps written in a notebook and moving twice since then, I have not found the notebook. Here is a crop of my new after edit. It looks better than the garbage I posted yesterday. Thank you.
  7. Thanks. Once I redo the luminance sliders, should I do unsharp mask in PS after my editing is complete? I took your raw class a few years ago. I'm saving money for the sharpening and skin classes.
  8. Hi Damien Is there anything else I can do to help this photo? I was a second shooter for a very low lit wedding. Both the main photographer and myself were shooting at ISO 5000. Bride's mother did not want additional lighting. With that said, I want to do my best with what I have. Most images will be used for an album. Bride's mother does want some prints. I've attached a crop of before and after and screen shots of my raw editing and read your tutorial on noise. I can take my luminance slider up more but then the people begin to look plastic. Can I do anything else?
  9. I opened a few old files and did not have any problems. I also went back and opened the file I was working on the other day and it loaded fine. Before, it would hang in ACR or take a while to load in PS and then stall on the tools. This morning, it is working fine. I don't understand.
  10. I have a Mac desktop running OS X Yosemite and Photoshop 2015. It is over 2 years old, and has 8GB of RAM. Its hard drive has 600GB free out of 2TGB. The last time I shut down was last night. I have never run a cleanup program. Photoshop did an update about a month ago.
  11. Is there a tutorial about what to do when PS and bridge are slowing. I have an iMac, 8 GB of memory and over 600GB of hard drive space. I have gone into PS and adjusted the preferences and deleted some of the history. If I try to have LR, PS and bridge open, it slows dramatically. It worked fine the other day. I have closed LR but bridge still hangs and PS will randomly hang when I try to use a tool. Is there a cache or something I need to delete?
