  1. I just got an EOS R - I took photos yesterday and today. Yesterday I formatted the card and today I took photos like normal. I just took the card out, put it into my computer to copy the pictures and there is not ONE photo from today. I am sick. I took a lot, obviously, it being Christmas but I have no idea what could have happened. The SD card is not locked, I scrolled through some photos today, or so I thought, now I am 2nd guessing myself. I ran a free recover program through cccleaner but it only found the files already on the card. . .
  2. No worries! Thanks! (Note to self, no more thin stripes!)
  3. Sorry - busy end of school year time! This is with the gaussian blur
  4. Well - now I see lol - but when it was over the whole image ? . . . let's just say I just woke up from a nap and wasn't thinking too clearly I don't really know. Brain fart? who knows, but thanks for the help!
  5. It was more so that I didn't even know it would take me to black and white so I was dumbfounded and not thinking clearly - shocked at the result of a black and white image so frozen in who knows what.
  6. Like I said - I don't know what that layer does and I've never had to fix moire before - not such a "duh" moment for me, hence the question.
  7. Is there somewhere with more info? When I put those numbers in (I don't actually know what channel mixer does) it makes the photo black and white. . .
  8. I am posting the 100% of my pants! Should I post in a new thread about possibly moving my son closer to us (asked about on facebook) and also wondering if there is anything to be done with my tummy bulge. I usually hide myself behind my children for this one very self concious reason!
  9. Thanks - I've got 24-70 and 70-200 and 85 mm so I am set in the lens dept for a minute! Thanks for all your help!
  10. Thanks! I ended up getting the Dell because they had a 15% off deal plus some cashback here through a program and cashback there from credit cards, I ended able to get the Dell cheaper than my friends build and didn't have to do the work! It will be delivered FRIDAY! Next savings - monitor - or a new camera, I am sure my husband prefers monitor at this point!
  11. I've scanned through the already asked questions and hope I've built this all correctly. A friend of mine has helped me price out what it would be to build my own vs what I configured on Dell. With all this, I have no idea if I am comparing apples to apples! I have this setup for the Dell (I hope I got everything suggested in other posts) VS What my friend designed: My main question - am I comparing apples to apples? and would you downgrade the ram in the DELL PC and then upgrade on your own?
  12. Sent! So - how do you do it if not in post processing? Fill flash? Reflector, etc? Which makes sense! I have just never tried.
  13. I am trying to figure out how to blend these two photos so the background is exposed as well as the family. I have tried a couple things but think the littlest girl has a halo and not sure if I am doing it the best way anyway. Not even sure if this is the way or if I should have used a reflector to get more light on the family, etc.
  14. This was before you said No, Sorry. . . I used the spot healing tool/ content aware . . .
  15. Is it possible to remove this fence? They don't mind it, they wanted the picture here with the sun, but I'd like to try and see if it were possible or if it would be tortuous!
  16. Still here! Busy last week of school. I will get it done right!
  17. Is it at all possible to remove the tint from his glasses?
  18. This is the fix I came up with . . .
  19. Help! Girl in the front arm is slightly tucked behind her back while brother's arm is in his pocket so it looks as if her arm is cut off. Any ideas?
  20. Is this good or do you want a 100% crop? I did find a vertical shot where the fog has gone away so I do have something to work with after all but I like the horizontal much better.
  21. It was snowing, freezing, etc. We were trying to hurry so these girls didn't loose their legs! I noticed my lens had a lot of snow/rain spots so I dried it off. After doing so it looked great in my viewfinder. When I came home all of the group photos have this foggy spot. Is there anyway to get it to match? As of right now the only thing I can think of is doing a levels adjustment. . . am I right?
