  8. The sharpening was fine however the place we used there equipment was shit! Sorry but it was they made us use there stuff and the color calibration was off on the projector or the cord they connectected the laptop to the projector was shot. But all bright pink/magenta dropped out of the image and was blue. But they were sharp if that counts ???
  9. I'm pretty sure blew it this day is this salvageable? At least its my own child and I can try again.
  10. I'm afraid I know the answer but I'll ask anyways. Is this salvageable or is she too out of focus?
  11. Sorry if this has been covered I tried the search and didn't get anywhere so maybe I'm not using the correct keywords to search with. I'm trying to figure out how to sharpen images that I will submit to be used in a slide show for my daughters dance banquet. It will be projected onto a a pretty big screen. I seen the pixels wide suggestion for a projector and will use that info but I'm not sure where to go with my sharpening. Should I follow the sharpening for web guidelines?
  12. this is SOOR. I am still learning lighting and I didn't feather the light enough on this backdrop and have washed out the center of it with a glare. Whats the best method to fix it and should I fix it before or after I do levels work?
  13. Is the baby too soft I do need to reduce some noise still but I thought I'd check focus before I moved on.
  14. Is she out of focus to much? Is it going to be noticed if printed at most it would be used on a promotional flyer.. camera info was ISO 400 1/5000 3.2
  15. need to fix the dirty feet. I know there is some major motion blur in the feet but mom really wants the picture regardless. ok i tried a levels layer with middle slider red channel 2.5 green 1.5 and blue 1.35 then invert and mask like you had on another picture but its not working this time. I'm sure it has to do with the color of the dirty feet but I tried and I wish I knew what brought you to the numbers you choose.
  16. to remove the guy in the back is my best bet to find another picture and composite him and the car out or is cloning even possible? I really wasn't to worried about it but I just had someone offer to take it out and said it was a one step process so now I am curious if they know something I don't.
  17. I first used dust and scratches to get off the white flakes but now this peeled flaky looking skin is left and when I went to sharpen for print I really noticed how bad it was. what do you suggest.
  18. oh I am going to be good at that method by the end of this week thank you!!!
  19. I'm guessing makeup on her chin got wiped off or didn't blend well. she chin has some bleshes I was going to clone out but the color issue with the rest of her face makes me wonder how to tackle this. I swear I have done no editing to her chin yet the coloring makes it look like I did
  20. Ok I feel like it does a crappy job when I try cloning or patching it I feel like it messing her hairline and didn't look right. I tried messing with levels and on my middle slider I used Red 1.03 green 1.08 and left blue alone did I totally botch this?
  21. I'm wanting to remove the headband mark is this a job for cloning or will something else work better.
