  1. ok ill get some... does it matter HOW much light of the correct light is in the room? I mean I have one ceiling lamp.... should I also change the table lamps and view prints under that?
  2. lol yea not happening after dishing out 3k... but I do have the PC screen you recommended and the color was never spot on with it either. I actually used it this week while my mac was being fixed and I have no idea how i was working on that PC screen before...5k retina is just so clear! Could you link me to which bulbs to use in the room to look at prints?
  3. I guess you can call it cooler, although the prints are not orange, they are more yellow. even adding warmth to the file in PS does not match the print as it makes it more orange and the print has a yellow tinge.
  4. kind of... the first couple of calibrations made everything extremely warm, even the example before and after calibration from spyder was a HUGE change when switched back and forth. The last calibration made the change not as drastic but the prints have a slight yellow wash on them, not orange as in warmth, but more yellow tinge.
  5. ok, so back with daylight here and after the last calibration the prints look more yellow that the screen... its not really more warm, its more yellowish.
  6. ok, I just recalibrated for like the 5th time and I think its better... Ill have to wait until the morning to check prints bc...winter...4pm sunset and no good bulbs here...
  7. I just uodated my sidebar. As far as other computers i dont have any at the moment. The spyder is about 2.5yrs old. is there anything better in the market now worth uograding to?
  8. Hi Damien. I had to wipe out my Imac and restart it from zero due to a crash. I am calibrating and now my screen seems so much more warm than before the crash. The prints are not matching either wo or with calibration. They were pretty close to the monitor with my calibration before the crash. Any advice? I am following your mac instructions for a spuder4pro
  9. Hi Damien, I finally got an iMac (coming from PC). Just making sure I did it correctly, the mac instructions dont have that measurement readings for each of the presets, correct? just the instructions as is with 2.2, native, etc? Thanks!
  10. hello! is there a link with info on what are the recommended specs for a new iMac? thanks!
  11. ok, i eill do that tomorrow once there is daylight (10pm here now). If that does not work, any other recs I might try since it might be night by you then?
  12. yes... its like the warmth is fine its just the reds, so there isnt a "setting" to adjust that...
  13. i think so... they were from your old blog... but I just skimmed through this one and it seems pretty much the same?
