Here are the steps to the action.....

Is there a reason why I can't clone and use an action on the same photo? I figured out how to clone with masking to get rid of the building but when I try to use an action on the picture it won't let me. And vice versa- I can't do the action first and then clone or the clone tool doesn't work properly.

The second image is when I use the clone tool on the building to the right... its too transparent.

For some reason when I use the spot healing tool and click on the "background copy" it just blinks green and does nothing. In addition, when I use my clone stamp tool the brush starts out white, I select the place I want it to copy and then click and it does NOTHING. I feel like it is a setting or something easy but I can't figure it out. My mode is: normal. the opacity is 100% and my layer is 100% opacity and fill is 100%.

I really want to get rid of the biggest house on the right. Its distracting. I have tried the clone stamp tool but just can't seem to get rid of it. Any ideas?
