  1. sounds good. i'll probably finish the raw class within the next couple of days and "practice" on the 55 photos i feel i should re-edit for clients that just placed orders. eikkk...
  2. yes. unfortunately they look like a match. i'm about 1/2 way through RAW right now. Guess I needed this kick in the butt.
  3. yes i did. but i sent you the crop i did before the trouble shooting. i'm also working on the raw class again
  4. I use either mpix.com or nationsphotolab.com I ordered the same prints that she ordered using mpix and the look identical. I believe she used mpix also. I followed the steps for color space issues above. I was in Adobe sRGB and have never used soft proofing.
  5. She is complaining about half of the prints for one reason or another. Color, sharpness, wanting backgrounds darker. She did provide the prints. Since the photos were taken I have re-calibrated my monitor and I think many of the photos need to be lightened a bit. But now I realize I'm having some color issues... I'm having consistency issues too. These all seem to be new problems. I do agree with her that I need to make some fixes on the color of some of the photos after looking at the prints, but others I'm at a loss as to why she wants a color change. I am going to look at your color space link tonight. Hopefully that helps. THANKS!
  6. I know. It is on my list of NY resolutions and I plan on doing it ASAP. I have never had any complaints before this but I realize I need to do it. Photo details: ISO400, 97mm, 7.1, 1/200
  7. I had a client print this photo (5x7) and complain that the photo is not crisp. Is she right? She has complained about something on almost all the photos. Sanity check please.
