  1. Phew! I'm glad I asked! I literally spent hours searching for all the right specs, and my brain was getting fried. I will get that one and remember to turn off the ambient light sensor. I am not a mac user, I am ordering a new PC as well, but I just went to Dell and added in all the stuff you wrote about in this thread -- Thank you!
  2. Hello! I have a question about IPS monitors & also blue light - I have read over all of the info in here on monitor choices, lots of the links to monitors are old/unavailable but I gathered up all of the specs and ran into a few issues --- I sorted through the Dell Ultrasharp models - found the IPS ones with matte coating/non glare, the SRGB 95% or better, at least 60HZ refresh, non-curved screens & all of the proper resolutions BUT the ones I found all have some type of 'comfort view' aka built in low blue light which I swear that I read somewhere that you say not to get. Does this IPS black matter? Here are the 2 I narrowed it down to -- this one has comfort view -- https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1696165-REG/dell_u2723qe_27_4k_uhd_lcd.html This one has IPS black, but I see it also says comfort view plus - https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1889853-REG/dell_u2725qe_ultrasharp_27_4k_uhd.html/overview Am I on the right track at all?
  3. Perfect - thanks for all the info! I assumed the sRGB is what I needed but wanted to be sure. And you’re correct about the fingerprint issue lol
  4. I will get the IPS. But of these choices in that second photo does it matter if I get the non touch IPS sRGB or the touch IPS adobeRGB? I’m assuming these are simply a touch screen or not touch screen?
  5. Thanks! I just wasn’t sure which choice to make of the three that were offered. I mainly edit on my PC. I’m simply getting a laptop for times I’m not at my desk but also wanted to be sure I can edit on it if I have to.
  6. I have been reading this forum today gathering info on the best laptop and in a thread you said this laptop looks great....below photo...I want to confirm that before ordering and also to ask which of the 3 options in photo 2 to choose - I am assuming the first one with the IPS sRGB? thanks!
