  1. Thanks for your reply Damien . It’s the first time that this has ever happened to me. I’ll have to look into changing my workflow. ?
  2. ha ha didn't think to try that.....will have a go now ........ Well that seemed to work! Still strange why bridge didn't want to upload all the images
  3. Hi Damien I have been lucky enough to be able to play with Canons new mirrorless RP. As adobe cannot read the new CR3 file format yet, I shot in raw and jpeg. When I put the card into my card reader and tried to upload the files it did not upload all of them. Only a handful out of about 90 images uploaded and the CR3 files did not show up at all. I put the card into 5diii and was able to see all the images in play back mode so the images are definitely on the card. I tried a different card reader and this time was able to see the existence of the raw files in bridge uploader window, but once again the majority of the images were missing. Bridge was not uploading them. Any idea as to what is causing this or how I can get around it? Card was brand new and formatted in the camera. I use Photoshop CC PS I also tried uploading with the card in the 5diii but once again only the same handful of images uploaded.
  4. I was only using a 240g SSd because I had one put into my old computer recently to try and speed things up a bit and was going to reuse it :-) I will definitely look into a 500g one instead :-)
  5. Hi There Brian My editing PC is in the grips of the blue screen of death and is taking it's final gasps as I type this on my laptop! :-) I am finally getting a new one ( old one is also over 7 yrs old and unable to be upgraded any more). I have read through many of the posts about new computers and some of my questions have been answered. I am going to build a custom PC and these are the components I'm thinking of........could you please comment on whether I am on the right track or wether there is something I have missed/not thought about or if something is overkill and I could save money by doing something different. I am not particularly fluent in techie computer speak so I'll be talking in laymans terms. I do not need a screen as I already have an excellent 27in Dell one. The following is the basic list of what I'm considering: 32gb ram 240 SSD for operating systems only 2x 2TB HDD in raid setup Asus motherboard Nividia 1070 graphics card Cheers Karen
