Hi Damien, I took a couple days off to ease my frustrations and celebrate my son's birthday. I restarted my computer and printer and checked through all the settings again. I tried printing other files and they came out wonderfully! Then I tried to print that same one I was having problems with and it was better, skin tone was nice, but there's something just off with the blue. One screen it has a hint of teal but in print it's more royal. So I'm happier than I was the other day. There's just something that's up with the blues. Maybe it's the way I edited that file, or how the screen or printer is calibrated for blue. In person, the wrap and background were more royal, so maybe that's how it should look but my screen is a bit wrong. I really don't know. I'm editing a session today of my girls to send photos out to a pro lab to see how they compare to ones I will print off here. I'll let you know how it turns out. Thanks. Stephanie

Well, I didn't, I thought it was a good idea, to do it myself and make more money, so I have to find a way to make it work now.

I've never tried soft proofing. I thought that meant that it wouldn't be high quality, like a rough draft sort of.

Printer Handle Colours, Standard Input, Printer and Paper Profile enabled.

Nope, still no difference...

Does the Rendering Intent look ok? Options are: Relative Colormetric Absolute Colorimetric Saturation Perceptual I have it set on Relative Colorimetric

I've tried so many things that I forget... I'll go try Standard and see if that makes any difference.

There's only 2 options: Standard and Adobe RGB

This is under matching Not much under Main

I've tried it both ways and they come out the exact same. First I did Photoshop Manages Colours and was able to turn off the printer profile. Ugly, gray, yuck. Then I did Printer Manages Colours and that's when I went into where the last screenshot about Manual Adjustment to turn the printer profile back on but it doesn't seem to make a difference either.

Ok. I will order prints. But shouldn't they look like my screen if I'm calibrated and saving like you said? Yes, that is Print Settings.

So you're not going to help me until I order from somewhere else? I have a client that has ordered prints and I would like some help to get this fixed so I can deliver them for her.

I haven't tried a pro lab. Only my own printer. I wanted to be able to do my own printing in house.
