  1. Thanks! After looking at specs and comparisons, I am leaning toward the D500, as well.
  2. Oh no I mean, I've been looking for an excuse to upgrade my camera, but I wasn't planning on exploring that option so soon. I want to stay with DX. I've been eyeing the D500 but frankly I'm overwhelmed with all the different bodies and options. I know I want the articulating rear screen on my next one, but beyond that, I'm not very particular. Lenses, I have 18-105mm, 50mm (1.8), 35mm, 70-300mm, & 105mm Micro (all Nikkor), and a Tokina 11-16mm.
  3. I fine tuned/calibrated my 6 lenses last night for the first time. I felt like I was always getting soft photos regardless of, well, anything. I was surprised to see nearly all of them required massive adjustments to - 20, which is as far as my camera allows (Nikon D7000). I've also seen mutterings of this model having focus issues, so what I'm wondering is if all my lenses need such drastic fine tuning, should I be considering having my camera looked at? It's 6 years old and my only body, so sending it in is not something I'm taking lightly, but I am pretty clueless about what is normal and what is a problem.
  4. I also noticed that the cursor doesn't always change with the tablet, but I as soon as I move the pen away, the cursor changes to the correct one based on my tool. Put the pen back near it and it changes to the round circle (brush) cursor. Starting to think there is some software incompatibility issues or something.
  5. I got my first graphics tablet today. Oddly, it inverts the brush (so with black selected, the tablet draws white, mouse draws black). Tech support told me it was a Photoshop issue. Is there some setting I need to change in Photoshop?
  6. Ohhh nevermind. I got it through the Camera Raw Filter in PS. Gosh what a pain.
  7. @Damien Symonds I've been wondering if I could open jpegs in ACR. Found this. Which took me to this article https://www.damiensymonds.net/2010/05/jpegs-in-acr.html But I don't have bridge and I've been trying to download it from Adobe's site for 4 days and in 3 browsers and it just isn't happening. Is there another way to open a jpeg in ACR that doesn't involve Bridge? Because I am 1000% fed up with Bridge already and I've never even used it ?
  8. It happens regardless of what I have open/going on. Just seems odd. My PC should have no issues handling PS. I have a PC desktop running Win 10 and Photoshop CC. It is over 2 years old (will be 3 in Oct), and has 32GB of RAM. Its hard drive has 137GB free out of 231GB. The last time I shut down was last night. I rarely run a cleanup program.
  9. Is this supposed to happen when I drag a marquee? Sometimes it doesn't do quite this much but retains little squares in the corners and odd lines and I'm not really sure why. ETA this is PS CC
