This is not the most technical image... I was practicing with my daughter and her best friend. Do you have a tutorial on how to remove the light glare in eyes? Or a good class for beginners Photoshop class? Edited image and SOOC Image attached.

I had a tough session yesterday this little guy was really fussy and sick. So it's not the best shot. But I'm having issues with the coloring of this photo. The backdrop I used was a blue and in this image SOOC it looks washed out. I use two soft boxes as lighting. I'm not an expert in Photoshop, I try to get the best shot possible so I have minimal editing. How can I fix this in post editing or improve my lighting so it's not washing my images out?
