  1. Found out that my ultrasharp has DDC, going to trial recalibrating with it off as some suggest on the internet. I take it after x-rite is done and saved the profile, thats the calibration. I don't need to "restart" to see it. Therefore, by that logic, it's good after calibrating, its the restart that makes it go wrong? Little help here? Hi Damien, I re calibrated before you replied turning off the DDC setting on my dell monitor and it worked a charm, everything looks perfect. It was somehow making a total mess of it all!

  3. I am going crazy with calibration here. I have a decent Dell ultrasharp - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dell-U2715H-27-Inch-Widescreen-Monitor/dp/B00P0EQD1Q/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1509200052&sr=8-3&keywords=dell+ultrasharp I am using X rite pro and read both your guides on it. I have tried every setting, doing everything manually the system leaves me with torquiose windows and google chrome top parts (if you know what I mean). Using ADC is better, with the system doing everything and profilling to V2. When it's done, I am extremely happy - it adjusts the RGB values an dmoves my monitor out of standard and into custom colour, selecting R 95 G 92 and blue about 89 if I remember. This looks great. And has bit more contrast than standard on my monitor which is flat. However, when i restart, colours seem same I would say but everything is less contrasty to a ridiculous level that shadows are all open and the files look mega flat, what is going on it's driving me mental. I switched from spyder 5 to this to try and solve this issue but ready to return this too!
