Hi Brian,
I ordered a new Dell computer with 2 monitors that are supposed to have sound capabilities. Unfortunately, I can't get the sound to work. I must have cables connected incorrectly or something. Please help.
Thanks,
Tracey

Deleted the last attempt. LOL
Blank layer above the channel mixer layer & cloned iris.
So...I zoomed into the photo, and alt click the clone stamp in the centre of the iris (relatively small) and then in the other eye, I matched up the iris (and reflecting window) and tried to clone the iris without messing up the eyelids. Is that the best way?

First attempt at cloning the other iris into her right eye.
I put the cloning layer right above the background layer. Is that correct?
Now the iris is a slightly different colour. Is that to be expected with glasses or should I be able to get it more the same colour? I messed about with channel mixer but couldn't get anything that looked useful.

Much better with the correct instructions! LOL
The touchscreen is a pain in the butt so I know I need to stash the cash and upgrade my computer.
For the next calibration, I may lay the whole monitor down flat so I can just set the calibrator on the screen since it won't tilt back far enough to hang properly.
If you have any other suggestions, I'm happy to hear them.

Hi Damien,
I have the i1 Display Pro and an HP All in One touch screen monitor.
The screen shot shows all of the available selections for colour management. I'm not sure which one(s) to select for recording the numbers in the uniformity section of the calibration instructions.
Please advise. Sorry to be so dense.

Thanks for the link.
Currently, I have the obsolete Mac Book Pro for use when I travel and this hp Pavilion 23 which is getting towards obsolete too, I think. My current plan is to buy an X-Rite i1Display Pro
so that it will calibrate both of these and whatever monitor(s) I upgrade to when I have the cash available.
I am going to order prints from the photos that I submitted in the Raw Class that I used in the WB checks (following the instructions about the color varieties, etc.).
Does this sound like an adequate plan?

Hi Damien,
I've dug around my computer's settings and the hp online help but can't find any buttons or settings for adjusting the display for calibration. Am I missing something or is this monitor/computer not able to be calibrated?
hp Pavilion 23 all in one
Thanks for your help,
Tracey
