Stacey Sedgman
Hi Brian! I hope you can help me. I'm panicking. I was trying to install presets and following instrustions from a youtube video. It told me to go to my user profile and look for app data. You can't see it, it's hidden which is fine but I cam back to the users folder to unhide hidden folders and my entire user profile has disappeared! I have no idea how to get it back or where it went given I didn't change anything just searched. Any ideas? I have windows 8.1 if that helps. Stacey Sedgman
I need to upgrade everything to be honest and it's on my list to do!
Brian
Yeah, it's much better to get a computer that comes with Windows 10 rather than trying to upgrade an older computer. If it runs Vista / Windows 8/8.1, Windows 10 will install. That said, things like drivers that are specific to your computer, like video card drivers and such, may not be available. In which case your life will become a bit difficult when it comes to dealing with your older computer. Windows 10 is so much better than Windows 8/8.1. It's what Windows 8 should have been.
