Lightroom - Photoshop workflow

I couldn't find it. Could you elaborate?  Just a general workflow using Lightroom first for global edits , then on to Photoshop.

Have you seen my posts in this thread? 

I wrote out my basic LR to PS to LR file management workflow there.  Let me know what, if anything, you'd want me to expand upon from that!
