  1. No, it seems to be once I undo all crop and flattening to get back to the layers that I see those blue lines.
  2. Whenever I crop once I've flattened the layer and cropped (I flattened first and then cropped), I can't get rid of the blue lines. It's very irritating.
  3. Mine just arrived. Thanks!
  4. I’ve been using my mouse for all my editing and it’s getting more difficult. Do you recommend using a pad for editing pictures?
  5. This has not been edited in RAW yet. I'll just leave it here and move on to other photos.
  6. When I restarted the computer it let me edit a picture in Bridge
  7. Not that I can think of. It's been on...
  8. I'm not sure I knew that. What's the difference?
  9. I am trying to save this picture to JPEG but my only option is JPEG 2000 which won't let me click on the ICC button and I can't find it in my files afterwards. Do you know what I'm doing wrong?
  10. I got this far, and then wanted to play with the Effects.
  11. I can't find where you added the Effects, Drop Shadow and Stroke. Where did that come from in the menus? I've gotten completely off track trying to figure it out.
  12. Yes. Your instructions were to go to photoshop and open a raw file. That didn’t work so I asked for help. That’s when I tried to the Bridge to camera Raw to photoshop. im not sure I understand your comment. Did I go through the process correctly?
  13. Ok. This time I opened in Bridge, then ACR and THEN photoshop. That worked. Do I always have to go that route?
  14. OK. I tried to start in Bridge but when I went from Bridge to Photoshop it gave me the same error message.
  15. I tried to open directly from photoshop from my photo files. Do I need to start in Bridge?
  16. When I try to open a CR2 file it gives me this error message and when I click on the link on the right it takes me to this page. I use Creative Cloud. I went there and it appears that I have the most up to date version. Do I really need to unistall it and revert to an older version of photoshop??
  17. Pretty much identical.
  18. I lowered the brightness on my computer until it matched my prints. I didn't do a full calibration afterwards, on a recalibration. It said that my target brightness was not the same and that it was going to change it to the lower brightness in the calibration. Will that work or do I need to do a full calibration? I think I'm good to continue on with the RAW class after this.
  19. 5 pro. How do I know how much to decrease my brightness?
