  1. Sigh. Shorter leashes, too
  2. Got any thoughts besides careful cloning? The patch tool isn't doing great, and neither is selecting them and doing a content aware fill.
  3. I turned off the graphics processor as D suggested, and so far things are operating much more smoothly. I can't replicate my earlier issue, so hopefully this one's in the bag. In the event that it's not, my secondary screen seems completely unaffected, Samantha. No changes in it when PS does its odd flash/wrap issue. And I updated the drivers on the Wacom immediately Brian I've had some fun issues with that thing in the past! Fingers crossed and thanks for all the help.
  4. I recently moved over to an iMac desktop with dual monitors (specs below). When in PS, if I use the mouse or my tablet with quick gestures - like most brush strokes - or even hovering over the tablet sometimes, the window displaying PS shifts and bit, and then wraps around from the right side of the screen to the left. If I stop for a second, the monitor flashes, and then the display returns to normal. Restarting PS or the computer doesn't fix it. The second monitor doesn't appear to be changed during this process. Any help in unraveling this one would be super appreciated iMac Retina 4k, 21.5 inch primary (HP 22cwa secondary) 3.1GH 16gb memory OSx 10.11.1 Wacom Intuos CTL-480/s
  5. Update: I've been using D's web sizing action without batching, because I tend to do one-off image prep. I set up a duplicate action just now and kept the sharpening box open for interpretation. Now I can resize while also making sure that the sharpening is per-photo. Thanks for the little nudge where I was going to let things slide a bit for ease - now I have the best of both worlds
  6. Thanks Christina! I knew I had read that somewhere before. Re: sharpening, I know that sounds flippant, but I just need to downsize for quick previews, which I usually do out of LR. I'm trying to switch over to Bridge though, so I wanted to use the Bridge/PS workflow. I do my print sharpening according to Damien's class, so don't worry too much about my clients
  7. I thought I remembered reading a tutorial or blog or FB post by Damien somewhere about batch saving files out of Bridge. I have a set of files I'd like to batch resize, sharpen, and rename, but I want to make sure I'm not going to save over my psd's. These are just files for client previewing, not for final output, so I'm not concerned about correct sharpening.
  8. Great! That will be well received
  9. How would you approach toning down the stretch marks in this? Mom is very self-conscious about them, and has requested some skin retouching, though not full-on "magazine style" unreal.
  10. Thank you! I expect that pink layer is the trick I needed
  11. Didn't notice this in the background for this shot, and it's the only one in this pose I have. I've been trying to replace with white, but my attempts around her nose look terrible - either it looks pasted in, or I lose her nose in the gradient. Suggestions? I'm not stuck with the idea of keeping it white - just plausible.
