HI Damien, I recently got photoshop CC however when I use bridge to open a raw image its using the old version of acr from my photoshop cs5.5 rather than the new version of acr that comes with photoshop CC. How can I change that preference?

I figured out the healing tool. For some stupid reason create texture was selected instead of content aware so sorry. As for the lasso tool its working now. I have no idea what is going on there. I only had a duplicate layer of the original open and hadn't done anything else yet. If it does it again I'll repost in here. Thanks Damien,

Hi Damien, My healing brush tool is showing the weird texture below instead of fixing the problem and now apparently my magnetic lasso tool is incapable of finding edges. I've rebooted but still getting the same problem.

Is this feasible? The sky was sooooo blah and the bride desparately wants a beautiful pink sunset.

Would something like this work? Bit darker but not so green. The photos above are links so hopefully doing this right?

Hi Damien, I'm interested in Julia's backgrounds and how she gets this look. I imagine a certain amount in camera but they're almost matte compared to the subject if thats the right term ? Is this a feasible photo to try and learn this look with or not enough DOF?

I cut them out with the magnetic lasso, feathered and smoothed and cloned the background, Could that be what you mean?

Hi Damien, I've added a "lightscaping" overlay to this in an effort to make it more punchy. File - place and then changed it to overlay, masked off baby. The balloons are also composite as the wind was terrible! Does it look overbaked?

Ok it won't print like that though? I guess what I meant is it looks pixely compared to everthing else.
