  1. I restarted my computer and tried again but still get the same message. Here are my settings.
  2. OK, help! I've changed my PSA to 300 and now I'm trying to convert the file to Adobe RGB 1998. I found another post where you gave instructions to someone else as to how to convert the file. I followed that and I get this error message: Could not complete the Convert to Profile command because the ICC profile description is invalid. Have you encountered this before?
  3. OK, thanks. Should I lessen my PSA just in case as I haven't don't test prints with this particular lab? It's normally 350 which I know you think is quite high anyway...
  4. Hi Damien My usual print lab can't do a matt size for my 20x40in print that I took through the print sharpening class recently so I'm looking at a different lab however they request all files to be in Adobe 1998 so they are print ready. Should I run a mile and find another lab to do it? Thanks Sarah
  5. OK how's this. I've been staring at it so long now I think I'm seeing things. Have I added too much colour now?
  6. What do you think? Is this reduced enough or should I keep going? It'sonly a very subtle difference viewed at 100%
  7. Thank you - I will try this and see how it goes and repost for your opinion if that's OK.
  8. Hi Damien, How do I remove the blue colour cast on her chin from the blue coat? Thanks Sarah
  9. OK thanks, so then should I not be as ferocious with noise removal?
  10. Hi Damien, First time posting. I am half way through the print sharpening class (haven't ordered test prints yet) and of course now I want to sharpen digital files for clients as I have seen how much better they look (yes, yes, I know I shouldn't be giving digitals).... My question is, I have removed all the noise from this image (following your tutorials) as it was a rainy day and shot at high ISO. I have tried to bring back detail by sharpening (following your sharpening for web) but it still looks plastic. How far can I push the sharpening or would I be better off leaving some noise in to preserve detail and not sharpen? Thoughts? Thanks, Sarah
