  1. Brian is there a way to update to high sierra on my mac? With my new 5D iv I can't view the cr2 files but also can't convert them using the adobes convert to dng as I need to have at least 10.13 or later
  2. When I go to update software it takes me to this
  3. Won't it take me to catalina if i update?
  4. When I say install. Its comes up with this?
  5. Omg Brian says I shouldn't update my photoshop because then my mac has to be updated which he doesn't think it will support catalina.
  6. Hey Damien with my new camera I have a problem. Adobe raw won't let me view the raw files. This is the link. https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html#canon_note
  7. I agree. I had a little play today and was so excited. I made sure the main things were changed such as changing to raw and it’s in srgb colour space.
  8. Hey Damien I’m not sure if I posted in the correct area and if you are able to help me but I have got my new 5D mark Iv. I’ve been going through the settings on it and was wondering if there’s is anything that I def need to change.
  9. Thank you so much for your help I decided to go with the 5D mark IV. ?
  10. One other thing I’d like to ask is if you know of any problems people have had with the 5D mark IV.
  11. I will also have a look at the R6 to before purchasing the 5D to see which one I’d prefer
  12. I’m def going to upgrade to the 5D mark lV. But I was considering also purchasing the 7D mark ll in a few months time depending on what they say about my 7D once I send it away for repairs. Does the mark ll have the same horrid focus problem? The reason Im considering this is so I still had a crop camera and I then have a spare. Do you think I’m crazy and shouldn’t bother? Do you think I’ll find it hard switching between both? I just thought that way I could still use my EF-S 10-22 and if I wanted that extra zoom when using my 70-200 I could still have that as well.
  13. The main things I take photos of is children, families and landscape. I do enjoy taking photos of birds but I don’t do it a lot. I would like to purchase new as I worry about used cameras and how they have been treated. I think I’d like to go with a full frame camera as I will send my 7d away to have it looked at and hopefully will still have it if it’s worth repairing. I’m just hating it a lot at the moment as the focus is so hit and miss. What are your thoughts on mirrorless cameras? I haven't really looked into them as much.
  14. That’s ok I did think he may have been on holidays all good I can wait, was checking he didn’t miss my reply. Thank you for letting me know ☺️
  15. @Brian just checking you haven’t missed this
  16. These are my lens EF 24-105 EF 70-200 EF 50 EF 100 EFS 10-22 which I’m aware wont work on a full frame camera which I’m all good about. Budget maybe around the $3000 mark. I’m not really sure I just need it to be good.
  17. Hi Brian I’m looking at purchasing a new canon camera body. My canon 7D has focus issues. It’s so hit and miss and driving me nuts, so before I send it away I was hoping to purchase a new body so then I have got a spare. Can you recommend a few good ones I can look into.
  18. Yes same prints. I have noticed it every time I calibrated but it’s only on one of the images the other two is very slight. Not sure if I should just leave it or not. I have just had a canvas print done and also compared it to my screen and it seems to match fine
  19. Hi Damien, I have calibrated my screen again and I find that my prints are slightly magenta I notice it in one of my prints on the skin tones but the other two not as bad. Should I fine tune it?
