  1. Tried all my usb ports. Not on another computer but my usb ports are working for everything else
  2. Thank you - Yes it is plugged in but it is not lighting up which i guess it means it is not working. I hear a noise when i plug in, is it something that can break? So strange. If i need to purchase a new one, what is recommended now? Or how about a Benq monitor? Thanks again.
  3. Thank you - I did that. It is only showing a demo version and it is very different from the last version like in your tutorial. Any advice of this? Thank you
  4. Hi I have not calibrated for a while now and my xrite is not connecting and coming up with the following message as seen on the attachment. Am i supposed to update? Please can you advise. Thank you very much
  5. Ok budget is not a concern this time. I need a working fast computer. I literally have to wait a minute between cropping and saving each image! It's absolutely absurd these days. Pity that it's more expensive now due to covid! Thanks for making me aware of that! Thank you for all the specs. Really appreciate all this.
  6. Wow that's amazing. Thank you so much for this information! Really appreciate it. I will speak to my technician tomorrow again! So glad I asked
  7. Wow just read through. Hoping hoping this will do the trick. I will try it tomorrow as I have switched off now. Should I keep this screen with the new custom built computer I am getting? I want bigger but I'm happy to spend slowly...
  8. Often when I shut down and switch on I have to re calibrate. I don't think it will change whilst I am currently on it but if I go away and come back it can change. It is so frustrating. When the screen so good, I only trust the colours when viewing in Photoshop - that might be normal?! The lighting situation in the room is always the same.
  9. Yes - i have done it many times, i think i always do it correctly. It does help bu i have to keep re-doing either due to color change or brightness change. Very often.
  10. Sure. I have attached it. Thank you so much
  11. on my device it says x-rite i1 Display i1 profiler Where else can i find details of it?
  12. I have the x-rite i-profiler and a dell 24 inch screen.
  13. Hi I am looking into having a customized PC according to my editing needs. What monitor would you recommend for editing. I have heard that the Benq and Eizo are good, but are they necessary? Getting colour accuracy literally causes me burn out from my job. I would love something that will help me with that. I do have the x-rite calibrator but still do not find it perfect and constantly having to re-calibrate. I have attached the specs that my technician has recommended me to get. I am aware that the graphics card has to be compatible with the monitor i get... Thank you
