hash3 Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Hello, I did a senior shoot a week or so ago, and this beautiful senior chose a shorter dress that her Mom is hoping I can either lengthen or crop close. She doesn't want it to appear quite so short on her daughter. I have tried the cropping route, and I just don't like it. The wrinkles...well... I will worry about that as phase two. Im not even sure I can get her covered yet. Can you help please?
Damien Symonds Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Yeah, it does look like she's wearing her dad's shirt, doesn't it?
hash3 Posted March 4, 2016 Author Posted March 4, 2016 Lol... Exactly. :-) She eventually pulled jeans on underneath, but they like this one.
Damien Symonds Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 I selected a big chunk of the bottom half of the photo, and duplicated it onto its own layer. Then I reduced the opacity and moved it down by one button distance, if you know what I mean. I made sure a button lined up. Then I masked that layer in as best I could. Then I added a cloning layer for all the little areas that weren't perfect. Download the PSD file 2
