renee warren
Hi damien. Im doing up a few car shots (picture attached) and would love to know how to achieve this look within the link. Not so much the black and white but the hd looking shiny paint job. thanks
Damien Symonds
Hi Renee, what makes you think it's an editing thing? Have you seen some of Lawson's "befores"? I mean, what makes you think it's not simply a very polished car? Are you aiming for yours in black-and-white too?
renee warren
no mine will be in colour i should have posted one in colour im sorry. It could well be just the car itself, however this same orange car belongs to a friend of mine and has had photos done by lawson before. Hes car was also very shiny in the shot and im fairly sure it wasn't when the photos were taken lol. I would love to show you but i cant find it on his page. only the photo that was sent to me by the friend and i believe that is against the rules to post here? this is what ive done so far... Damien Symonds
Surely you can see how the building is reflected in the side of the car in Lawson's photo? That's not made up, the building really is there. Your photo hasn't got anything reflecting in it.
Damien Symonds
Anyway, what about something like this?

I see on yours it's got shine and reflection where mine is just flat. how do I achieve that? Thank you for your help!

It's irrelevant, because I was working on a small web sized file. You'll need to experiment on your own and find out what looks best on the full file.
