prints don't match monitor

So, I recalibrated my monitor three times.  My prints are dark, flat, and have low contrast compared to my screen.  What am I doing wrong? This is driving me crazy, and I have a lot of editing to get done.  Please help!

No, they're not.  Your prints are what they are.

Your screen is too bright and too contrasty.

Were you following my instructions here?
