LaurenS
I am trying to get ready to calibrate my monitor for the first time. I have my test prints from MpixPro. I feel like they match dead on already but as I am preparing to calibrate I see that they use 5000 K vs the 6500 temperature. Is this a big enough deal that I should switch labs and order new test prints before I calibrate?
Damien Symonds
Yes. Millers, Mpix and MpixPro (ha, pro!) are completely useless for this reason. If you calibrate to make your screen match their too-warm prints, then you won't be aware how blue your photos will appear to everyone else online. LaurenS
Thank you! I guess I am off to find a new lab.
