Raelene Keegan
Sorry to bother you Damien but I've looked through your resources etc for a step by step guide to using the rectangular marquee tool to crop a photo for Facebook so that the longest side is 960 pixels ( as you recommend) and I know that it's probably looking at me somewhere but I can't find it. Thanks
Damien Symonds
Oh gee, no, never use the marquee tool for cropping. Which version of PS do you have?

Damien Symonds
Great. So choose the Crop Tool, and in the Options Bar, make sure it's set to "WxHxResolution" (I think that's what the setting is called. Then enter "960px" in the Width field (make sure you include the "px" or you'll crop it to 960 inches or something!). Leave the Height and Resolution fields blank. Then crop.
