Height help

The boy on the right is actually three inches taller than his brother leaning on the post on the left... I'm not sure what I did in posing or camera to do that, but the mom would like it fixed. Any ideas?

Isn't it simply because he's a fair bit closer to the camera?

Well, I'm curious why the mom is only worried about the boys?  Surely she would be more concerned that her daughter is giant compared to her?

I'm trying to figure out what's required.  Do you, or do you not, think that the girl with the glasses needs to be smaller also??

Please don't be cryptic.  Just answer the question.

Or, let me ask it another way:  If we were to only alter the size of the son, do you think the girl in glasses would look ok, or extra weird, remaining at the size she is now?

Ok, let's try the easy method first.  What about if you messed with some pseudo-lens-distortion while correcting the vertical lines?
