markashworth
I have a client who has ordered some large images. Would it be better to export RAW image from ACR or LR at higher resolution initially before editing, rather than editing the native pixel dimensions then using PS to interpolate? Damien Symonds
Hi mate, do you mean your client has ordered large prints? Or large digital files?
markashworth
Large prints... 36x24
Damien Symonds
Pah. That's not big. 60" is big. No, there's no visible benefit to exporting extra large from raw. The end (print) result is the same either way. So you definitely wouldn't bother putting that extra burden on your RAM and hard drive, for no benefit. markashworth
Great - OK thanks I will just process as normal, edit and resize for printing in PS as normal then...
Damien Symonds
Exactly as per the Sharpening Class, yes.
