How to change the color of the ball so that it looks realistic

Hi Damien! Can you please help with changing the color of the green ball to blue. I tried the hue/saturation layer but it gave a horrible yellow cast on the fingers no matter how careful i tried to mask around.

This is the best I can manage.  I realise it's a fairly weak colour, but it's the strongest I can manage.
